This hands down is one of my new favourite links. It's slinky, shiny and gives you great neck coverage due the the flatness of the links. Bold, beautifully faceted and unapologetically disco, this vintage curb necklace has the confidence to do all the talking. Every link has been cut to catch the light, so as it moves the gold throws little flashes of warmth rather than simply shining. It's one of those chains that feels just as good in your hand as it does on.
Then there's the maker. UnoAErre has been producing some of Italy's most celebrated gold jewellery since 1926, and for vintage collectors, seeing *1 AR is always exciting. It was the first registered maker in Arezzo and has become one of those hallmarks people actively search for. Not because it's fashionable, but because they know the quality, the history and the craftsmanship behind it.
Finding a vintage UnoAErre chain like this is becoming increasingly rare. The best examples have a habit of disappearing into private collections and staying there, which makes finding one today all the more exciting.
