Vintage Jewellery

Golden Girl Au specialises in vintage and pre-owned jewellery.

Vintage jewellery is not new jewellery. Pieces may display patina, previous wear, minor imperfections, softened edges, previous repairs and other characteristics associated with their age and history.

Each piece is individually described and photographed. Please review the complete product listing, including the Details, photographs, measurements, weight and condition information, before purchasing.

Product Information

I take considerable care to ensure product descriptions and information are accurate.

Measurements and weights are approximate and minor reasonable variations can occur because of measuring methods and equipment.

Photographs and video form an important part of the information provided about each piece. Close-up photography can make jewellery appear larger than it is in person, while lighting and screen settings can affect the appearance of colour and gold tone.

Pricing

All prices displayed on the Golden Girl Au website are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Golden Girl Au sells vintage jewellery rather than gold bullion. Pricing may take into account factors including acquisition cost, rarity, desirability, craftsmanship, condition, maker, age, design, collectability, sourcing difficulty and the costs associated with researching, testing, preparing and offering the piece for sale.

Prices are not determined solely by gold weight or prevailing gold melt value.

Orders

Placing an order does not prevent Golden Girl Au from cancelling or refunding an order where reasonably necessary, including because of a genuine listing or pricing error, payment problem, suspected fraudulent transaction, stock or inventory error, or circumstances in which the item is no longer available.

If Golden Girl Au cannot fulfil an order that has been paid for, the amount paid for the unavailable item will be refunded.

Nothing in this section limits rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Payment

Payment options available at checkout may include credit card, Afterpay and other payment methods made available through the Golden Girl Au website.

Payment must be successfully completed before an ordinary website order is dispatched.

Layby may be available separately on selected pieces over $2,500 and is subject to Golden Girl Au's Layby Terms and an individual written Layby Agreement.

Shipping

Australian shipping is complimentary and orders are sent using Golden Girl Au's stated shipping service.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

Returns & Consumer Guarantees

Golden Girl Au does not offer returns, refunds or exchanges simply because you change your mind.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Jewellery Care

Vintage jewellery requires care appropriate to its age, design and construction.

Damage caused after delivery through misuse, unreasonable or abnormal use, accident, inappropriate wear, negligent handling, improper cleaning, alteration or attempted repair is not a failure by Golden Girl Au to comply with a consumer guarantee merely because the damage occurs after purchase.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Golden Girl Au website and its original content — including product photography, video, written descriptions, branding, graphics and other original material — belong to Golden Girl Au and must not be copied, reproduced, republished or used for commercial purposes without permission.

I take reasonable care in maintaining the Golden Girl Au website but cannot guarantee that the website will always operate without interruption, delay or technical error.
