Their distinctive maker's mark – an FM within a quartered heart – is instantly recognisable to collectors and is believed to reference the firm's early home in Bleeding Heart Yard. Today, Fred Manshaw pieces are highly sought after for their quality, ingenuity and nostalgic appeal, with fully articulated charms like this charming fish among the maker's most desirable creations.
