No new pieces will ever carry these marks, making surviving examples a little piece of British jewellery history.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eRings like this, in this exceptional condition, don’t come along often. Over the decades, so many old gold signets have been worn down, damaged, altered or simply melted for their gold.
